Some people might not know a lot about cars, but there are others who

Although this past year has seen a very stiff decline in their podcasts, I still think the Two Johns Podcast is the best out there by far. The guys are very knowledgeable and incredibly entertaining. Their podcast covers everything, from pro tour coverage, local racing scene, and listener Q&A. They have quite a bit of knowledge about mechanics, parts, and training theory so they really cover all the bases. However, it does take a couple of episodes to get into the rhythm of things since there are a lot of inside jokes. All I want for Christmas is the Two Johns to start podcasting again!

Hi Damon...

Agree, Giant and Merida make the majority of frames. Giant is by far the largest. Merida also own 19% of Specialized since 2001. I've not seen updates to this but the idea was so that Merida would build all Specialized bikes. The other OEM I know of is IDEAL but no idea who they make bikes for. All three are from Taiwan, with lower end bikes being made at Chinese production units.

Here is a good read from INRG.com on where bikes are made. http://inrng.com/2012/02/who-made-your-bike/

Much of the reason meny bikes are not listed is because Giants manufacturing facilities in Taiwan make many other brands of carbon frames. I don't know them all but the number is staggering.
